The Sibilla Cardigan is a top down drop shoulder cardigan with front edge cables that give a cut-off aesthetic. First, the back is worked in pattern while the shoulder slope is created with increases. Then, each shoulder is picked up from the back yoke and worked with increases while maintaining the cable pattern. When the yokes are done, the pieces are joined together and the body is worked flat to hem. Sleeves are worked in the round and finished with long ribbing. Finally the button bands and the neck band are worked.
The Sibilla Cardigan requires the following techniques: knit and purl stitches, cross stitches, increases (M1L, M1R, M1pL, M1pR), decreases (k2tog, ssk, p2tog, ssp), and tubular bind off.
The Sibilla cardigan in the photos is worked with Como Grande and Premia by Lamana both in color 33 (1 strand each, 2 strands held together).
Select the main colour with Como Grande / Como Grande Tweed colour chart, we will include the matching shade of Premia automatically. If you wish to have a different shade in Premia, just leave us a note at check out!
