DROPS Melody is a soft and luxurious yarn made from superfine alpaca and merino wool. Warm and with a mohair-like look, it’s available in a sophisticated shade card ranging from soft beige and gray hues, to gorgeous pinks and reds.

Being so soft and light, DROPS Melody is a great choice for oversize garments as well as accessories. It knits up quickly with big needles without the piece becoming heavy and it can be used as an effect yarn together with other qualities, to give garments extra volume and softness.

Gorgeous

I’ve used this yarn before and it’s a joy but was unable to get this color until I found it here. It’s more beautiful than expected, can’t wait!

This is a very soft and squashy yarn because of the brushed alpaca content. It also sheds! Putting your finished garment in a plastic bag in the freezer for a few hours helps. My sweater is so soft and smooth to wear, even next to the skin - and it is so cosy

I love this yarn, so soft and knits up really well. It does lose some of the fluff, but suits what I use it for perfectly.

Fluffy and hairy and great colour

Crocheted up alone, this wool is quite hairy, so you should bear this in mind if you’re considering buying. I made a scarf and a bucket hat out of this and thought the fluffiness was fab. Also fog is a beautifully textured colour.
